In my opinion, Deeply Rooted Dance Theater put on a good concert, but there were too many jam sessions on stage and the songs consistently deviated towards the middle.
The bass-heavy audio in the auditorium made it difficult to hear the exact words coming out of his mouth. The overwhelming bass forced me to guess what he was saying based on the crowd's reaction and mumbling.
While Deeply Rooted Dance Theater has a good heart sampling other songs, some transitions were great, but unnecessary when he sang his own versions. My girl and I came to see him and his music, not someone else's interpretation.
